  All right, the magic code attached. I do not know whether it can be integrated with other magic though. It prints the volume creation date, something that the Windows CDFS driver does not provide.   We have an installation of Windows 2008, including Server for NFS. &lt;br&gt; On that system, using a Linux client, we get EOPNOTSUPP when trying to &lt;br&gt; create a new symlink (through symlink(2)). When reading symlinks that &lt;br&gt; pre-existed on the disk (from an SFU 3.5 installation), readlink will &lt;br&gt; give EIO. &lt;br&gt; On a seemingly-identical installation, all works fine.
